Durabella Palladiana Terrazzo ist eine ideale Möglichkeit, zerbrochenen Marmor zu recyceln und in ein neues Design-Bodenbelag zu verwandeln. Regenerativer Bodenbelag entsteht durch die Wiederverwendung von aus bestehenden Gebäuden gewonnenen Marmorelementen in Durabella Biopolymer Terrazzo. Dabei werden wunderschöne Marmortöne zu individuellen Designs kombiniert oder in einer tonalen Einheit mit nur einer Farbe gestaltet.

Duracryl produces floorcoverings based on natural and renewable materials. This has a major advantage on climate change compared with fossil based products. For accountability of the impact of the carbon footprint of each flooring product we are using the definition of “Healthy Materials Lab at Parsons School of Design” in New York, a leading authority on this subject. “Currently, there is no universal threshold for ‘low embodied carbon’ in flooringmaterials. After discussing this research with experts, we have set a rigorous standard that can meet 2030 emission goals. These products, labeled with ‘LEC’, embody below 5kg of CO2 per square meter” All Duracryl products comply with this standard and are referred to as “Climate Positive Flooring”

composition

Durabella is made out of various components based on a special modified binder, marble aggregates and/or natural stones. Durabella Biopolymer is made from vegetable oil and is Red List Free. Durabella is a flexible terrazzo and has a 40% better sound absorption compared to tradional epoxy terrazzo.

application

Durabella Seamless Terrazzo is an aesthetic, seamless, wear-resistant finish for areas with heavy traffic. Suitable for both new construction and renovation (10-18mm) project. Durabella is therefore often used in public buildings such as shopping malls, hotels, receptions, restaurants, convention centers, airports, banks, offices, hospitals, entrance halls, stations, public areas, etc.

appearance

Very similar to the traditional terrazzo floors. The surface is smooth. Various patterns and motifs can be obtained in the floor. In contrast to traditional terrazzo floors Durabella can be supplied in RAL, Pantone or NCS colors. The finish can be adjusted to your liking and color composition is customer specific. Slip-resistance is depending on the finish, multiple options available.

hardening and curing

Durabella is ready for foot traffic at 15°C after 24 hours. The full hardening has occurred after 7 days assuming a temperature of 15°C. After curing the floor is ground to the desired surface. The floor is waxed or impregnated.
